Cana Farm’s new chapter begins!

Updates on our relocation and ways to support our move.

We’re making remarkable progress on relocating Cana Farm from Orchard Hills to Grose Vale, in Sydney’s Hawkesbury region. While it’s bittersweet to leave our original farm, this move opens exciting opportunities for expansion and community engagement, thanks to a beautiful 13-acre site with new facilities and loads of potential.

Our current farm operations at Orchard Hills remain in place through the busy Christmas season, especially production and sales of our handmade pantry goods that support our mission. In the meantime, garden beds and equipment are settling in at Grose Vale, with plans to move our kitchen and community facilities early in the new year. The main shed will be reconfigured to host school groups, corporate volunteers, veterans, and other community circles, ensuring Cana Farm continues to offer a welcoming and educational environment for all.

Honouring the land’s original Boorooberongle custodians, we’re also collaborating with their community leaders to include them in this new chapter—and they’ll help us name the farm!

To make this transition smooth, we’re facing one-time setup expenses of $150,000 over the next four months for equipment relocation and infrastructure setup. Your financial support can help us create a lasting space where our community members can learn, grow, and rebuild their lives.

Thank you for being a part of this new chapter for Cana Farm.
