Cana WA community.
Help build community in Western Australia.
Not just limited to NSW’s borders, Cana has a special community in Western Australia providing practical and emotional support for men and women. Emmaus house, and home to their community hub (Fremantle) offers hospitality, a place to belong and a place to foster supportive relationships for many who are experiencing poverty and hopelessness.
We value forgiveness and acceptance and provide a safe environment and opportunity to recreate oneself.
Women come to us from jail, other institutions, the streets, are fleeing domestic violence or seeking asylum. Many women have called Anstead House home and wherever their journey takes them, they are always welcome and remain part of our community.
