Permission to notice | our reflective space
Took a long walk this morning,
Took it with permission to notice.
A grey and brown bird here,
Two Dalmatians, black-spotted
And brown-dotted, striding along.
A little boy running from grandma,
Giggling, dodging, falling, jumping.
Mum with the pram smiling, waiting.
High on the pavilions-paintings:
Sea shells, boats and fish, African
And Eastern scenes of home.
All images I may have missed
If I waited for permission to notice.
