Holes | our reflective space

We dodge them,
Fill them in,
Jump them
And hide them.

Beautiful in fine lace,
But not in a favourite jumper.
They are a danger to traffic,
A trap when we're learning to walk.

We are all born
With a hole in our heart.
As we live we find our desire:
What will fill this precious hole.

Let us learn to let our hole lead us
To peaceful companionship with everyone
As we walk lightly together,
With all creation, becoming wholly one.
